This space shows Mary Misses more mechanical side with use of thin complex barriers to give a sense of complexity and differing spaces. This works seems to me like walking into the Rolex of a giant, with repeating circles, varying rings of metal intricately designed to create a roof dappling the court with an array of shadows. As well, a faceted glass window surrounding the second story give an infinitely repeating image and a gear shaped bench adds to the sense that the structure could simply begin whirring and spinning. This is personally my favorite work by her.
