Turner Prize | presented to British artists under the age of 50 for a job well done. |
Giclee | a french sprayed ink for paintings that are taken from a photograph. |
Exhibition | the work of artists that are on display; either on the wall or on a table, depends on what kind of artwork it is. |
St. Martin's School of Art | located in London; where Richard went to school for two years, the second year he attended there he had his first solo art exhibition. |
England College of Art | attended for three years before going to the St. Martin's School of Art; a high class school. |
'Walking and Marking' Exhibition | Richard Long's exhibition; while he was taking a hike, took pictures and that was called this. Everybody walked and watched him take these pictures; one of those pictures won a Turner Prize! |
Konrad Fischer Gallery | a gallery that was named after Konrad Fischer who discovered a lot of other artists and that is why there's a gallery named after him. |
Transience | a piece of artwork that's doesn't last a long time. |
