Glossary:

Temperate: not excessive in degree, as things, qualities, etc.

Preliminary: something preliminary, as an introductory or preparatory step, measure, contest, etc.

Precast concrete ribs: is an ancient type of construction material made with concrete cast in a reusable mold or "form" and cured in a controlled environment, then transported to the construction site and lifted into place, in this case, formed in the shape of ribs

Podium: a. a low wall forming a base for a construction, as a colonnade or dome.
b. a stereobate for a classical temple, esp. one with perpendicular sides.
c. the masonry supporting a classical temple.
d. a raised platform surrounding the arena of an ancient Roman amphitheater having on it the seats of privileged spectators.

Interior design: The layout of the inside of the building and how it will be constructed.

Outer shells: The outer shells of the Opera House form the roof. The white sail like structures.

Acustics: a. Designed to carry sound or to aid in hearing. b. Designed to absorb or control sound: acoustic tile.
