Purkiss Rose

Purkiss Rose is not the most popular designing team. People think that his style is usless for the skating world and it never changes.

His style is very right angle oriented, with very few contemperary designs.

"The worst designs I've ever seen come from this company. Question, why should people who don't skate, don't understand skaters be in the skatepark designing business? Should skaters start a golf course designing business?
Every time I hear that Purkiss Rose has the bid to design the park, I know that it's going to be an up hill battle just to get a park that is skateable, and getting a really good park, forget it!
Sad fact is, that it doesn't cost any more money to build a really good park, just takes the right designers and contractors. Purkiss Rose isn't it!"

"With experience of working on over 60 Skate Parks, we are familiar with site selection, neighborhood concerns, noise and parking issues, types of preferred layouts, design for all skill levels, safety, permit requirements, approvals, construction cost, specialized construction and maintenance considerations." But what everyone can give him credit for is his 'outside-the-box' ideas. The kind of ideas that skaters wouldn't think about because they're too unreal.
Odd forms and shapes introduced to the skateboarding world put a new spin on Purkiss' skateparks. The amount of time that is put into the thought and making of these skateparks. some objects in the park can take four or five stages to make. Forming concrete, sanding, more concrete, more sanding and finishing.
Most of the skateparks Purkiss makes are very right angled. The main reason people don't like Purkiss is because of this. Also because his bowls are too verticle, making skateboarding difficult for the best of skaters.
