The Neo-modern era of architechture

The Neo-modern era of architecture started to emerge in the late 1990s. It is an extention of modernism in architecture that began during the 20th century. 20th century Modernism started to design things according to thier function. The use of glass and steel for exterior support was an element incorporated in to architecture in the twentieth century. In the Neo-modern era building designers started getting away from rectangular shapes of modernist architecture and moved to more rounded shaped structures, they also tried to lose the machine aspect of buildings and went for an organic forms hat were more human accessible. The idea was to make their design stand out rather than fit in.
