"Dying Inside" is a poem written by a teenaged boy named Josh Talley. This poem is about Josh falling so in love with a girl and loving everything about her. It started off so well but then ended in tragitity. The title of the poem "Dying Inside" because I think means that even though these two people are no longer together, Josh still sees this girl everyday, and when he does, a part of him dyes because he is hurt from what had happened between them. Now that they arn't together and there love is lost, Josh feels that he is worth nothing without her.

In the first stanza, Josh is talking about what he loved about this girl, like how he loved hearing his voice, feeling her skin and just being close to her and when that ended, he cried.

In the second stanza, he's saying that if love is known to be good, then why do people break up. Why does love always go wrong when everything seemed so right.

In the third stanza, he;s saying that since the relationship had ended, Josh still sees this girl everyday. When he does, a part of him dies because he misses her so much.

In the fourth stanza, he's saying that he still have memories of her. Whenever he thinks about it, it feels as though his heart is bleeding.

In the fifth stanza, he talks about how he thinks his life is worth nothing since he is no longer with the girl he loved.

The reason why I picked this poem is because it reminds me of a guy that I have known for sometime that I have fell for bad. So whenever I read this poem, it reminds me of him.
