This is a recruiting poster for the U.S Army from the 1940's. It is representative of this time because first of its time because this was the main way of recruiting people. This simple poster of Uncle Sam was focused at the black people of this time. Since the idea about black people was well they are lower class and could not afford televisions this was the main advertisement for this time. |

During the 60's every crazy hippes had one of these lit up some where in their pad. This is what supplied all those cool cats with hours of crazy pleasure. |
