Time Management Skills
A TO DO list can be useful when there are a lot of tests and assignments. A STUDY PLAN is advisable during exam time.
SET PRIORITIES for things needing to be done and complete them in order of importance.
DON'T UNDERESTIMATE an assignment. Have a good understanding of what will be involved to complete the assignment and how much time it will take to do a good job.A CALENDAR at home, where everything gets recorded, is important to have. This helps see the big picture.
Set GOALS for completing assignments. Larger assignments can be broken down into smaller, manageable tasks done over a period of time. This avoids doing things at the last minute in a rush.
AVOID OVER COMMITMENT (being involved in too many activites). This leads to homework and school often creating a lot of stress.
Make sure assignments are passed in ON TIME to avoid a late penalty.
