If a picture is worth a thousand words,
Let's create a TEN THOUSAND-word story!

Is it possible to tell a story without words? Your challenge is to do just that with 5-10 images. You will carefully construct images to get your message across.

1. Plan ahead and work out your story using a storyboard.
· Decide on exactly how people need to pose, where they need to pose, and any props you might need to successfully tell your story.

2. Take your digital images. No more than ten, no fewer than five.

3. Collect the pictures from Mr. Bennett's inbox and insert them in an engaging website design that compliments your story. Here is some advice for designing effective websites. Here is a web-based presentation to help you too.

4. Include a secondary web page that explains the following:

· The story - a brief write up that tells us the events and message of the story you've created - no more than 2 paragraphs should do.
· The effect attempted with each image. What is happening in each picture?

5. Send your entire folder to Mr. Bennett so he can put the projects online. Do NOT put your names anywhere on your website. Because of AVRSB policies, students' images and names can not be used on the same items. To avoid concerns with the AVRSB, please try to keep "face time" to a minimum in your pictures.

You will be marked on your ability to tell a story, your ability to work together to create a final product, and the effectiveness of your website.
