For each of the questions below, explain what information you would need to answer the question, and how you would present the information. You do not answer the actual question – you merely explain what information you would provide and how you would provide it!

EXAMPLE – List and explain the factors that influence mass wasting. (20 points)

In order to answer this question, I would list a factor and explain how it influences mass wasting. I continue this pattern of identifying a factor and explaining how it influences for all of the remaining factors. This question is worth a lot of points, so I would give as much detail as I can.

  11. Explain in logical steps how convection currents occur. Draw an illustration to support your written response (5 points)
  12. Compare and explain the factors that contribute to a difference in seasonal climates in Yellowknife NWT and Halifax NS. Some factors will be significant; others may influence the two areas similarly. Explain all factors fully (10 points)

  14. What sort of urban features were placed near Africville? (1 point)
  15. In spite of the conditions that would be poor by our standards, many people from Africville wanted to stay, and many of the people who used to live there wish they could go back. Why? (10 points)
