Art & Design teacher, Paul Syme, was recently recognized by Apple Computers for his Media Power lesson design. This project makes up the Communications module in Design 11.


 

HHS Visual Arts review of the 20th C.

Skills Canada Achievements:

In 2003, Anne Mac Millan place first in Nova Scotia for her skills in Graphic Design. She then went on to compete nationally. See her Design.

In 2002, Art 12 students Rachelle Dienes and Ashley won the Gold Medal in Video Production. They went on to Vancouver to represent Nova Scotia at the National Skills Canada competition.

IN 2001, Grade 11 student, Rachelle Dienes, won the Gold Medal in Graphic Design. She will go on to Alberta to represent Nova Scotia in the NationalDesign competition.

IN 2000, In graphic design, Horton's Kristen Murchison received the Silver and went on to compete on Montreal. Our own David Toews received the Bronze medal in this category.
